Securities CCP Support

Eurex Clearing offers central counterparty clearing services for securities transactions arising from trades executed on Eurex Exchange, Frankfurt Stock Exchange (Xetra & Börse Frankfurt) and Eurex Repo.

This service based on ASDN (actual settlement date netting) allows its participants close monitoring of their positions during the settlement period as well as high netting efficiency for settlement positions. It also provides a mechanism to reduce the number settlement instructions choosing “CM level” as netting unit. Furthermore, CCP offers Gross Delivery Management services like linking, hold/release of delivery position or gross processing either via dedicated GUI or via an interface (SWIFT and z/os)

FAQ

Actual Settlement Day Netting allows to create one net position for the settlement day for actual pending trades, late trades and results of processed corporate actions.

Choosing the Gross processing method, every single trade can be processed and settled separately. This allows the balance between the maintenance and settlement efficiency.

Eurex Clearing has set up an internal project to implement internally the CSDR rules.

Currently partial settlement is offered by CBF/T2S and CCP did enable this service for the CSD. With CCP Release 18.5 the service will be also offered for settlements in CBL and Euroclear Bank.
