After the successful launch of the first tranch of SURE Bonds and the overwhelming interest from market participants, making it likely to upsize issuance without much difficulties. The EU will thus become not only the largest Supranational issuer in Europe and the world but also one of the largest pan-European issuing entities. It will also become the largest global issuer of green bonds.
