Recently an issue has been detected in Java 8 update 331 and Java 8 update 332 which affects the parsing of URLS in the LDAP, DNS, RMI and CORBA built-in JNDI providers.
The issue can potentially affect the client / server communication of the T7 GUIs and may lead to missing updates in various views of the T7 GUIs.
The issue is inherited by 3rd party Java Runtimes like Azul Zulu version 8.61 and 8.62, which have been removed from the download area of the DBAG Member Section for the time being.
Oracle has released Java 8 update 333 which resolves the issue.
See Java™ SE Development Kit 8, Patch 8u333 Release Notes (oracle.com) for details.
T7 GUI users running the Oracle JRE 8 update 311 are highly recommended to update to the latest JRE 8 update 333 as soon as possible to run the T7 GUIs.
T7 GUI users running the Azul Zulu JRE are highly recommended to either downgrade to version 8.60 (available on the DBAG Member Section) or update to 8.63 as soon as it becomes available.
