Summary:
Initially introduced for the F7 FIX Gateway, Repo F7 is now transitioning all API and GUI client certificates from the previously used self-signed client certificates to new client certificates which can be created in the DBAG Member Section with a simple click and automatically signed by Deutsche Börse’s Certificate Authority (CA).
This new workflow is significantly easier and reduces tasks on the client side. Furthermore, the new DBAG CA signed client certificates can be used and can be revoked immediately without any delay for GUI and FIX (client certificates for F7 API still require one end-of-day processing to become active).
Please use the tile labeled “Eurex Repo F7 GUI/API/FIX” under “Requests & Configuration” in the DBAG Repo Member Section to create and manage these new DBAG CA signed client certificates for all types of Repo F7 access.
As announced in the Eurex Repo Technical Information sent on January 15, 2024 Eurex Repo will now start to fully remove the ability to further use the deprecated self-signed client certificates for Repo F7 API and Repo F7 GUI with the following timeline:
- March, 16th, 2024
Eurex Repo F7 Simulation will no longer accept self-signed client certificates for incoming Repo F7 API or Repo F7 GUI connections - April, 27th, 2024
Eurex Repo F7 Production will no longer accept self-signed client certificates for incoming Repo F7 API or Repo F7 GUI connections - May, 11th, 2024
Eurex Repo F7 Advanced Simulation will no longer accept self-signed client certificates for incoming Repo F7 API or Repo F7 GUI connection
All customers are required to switch to the new DBAG signed client certificates on or prior to the dates listed above. Usage of the deprecated self-signed client certificates will no longer be possible after the announced dates.
