Introduction of a new bandwidth of 14 Mbit/s for the Eurex Multi-Interface Channel

1.   Introduction

Eurex Frankfurt AG hereby announces the introduction of a new bandwidth of 14 Mbit/s for the Eurex Multi-Interface Channel (Eurex MIC) as of 1 November 2020.

Production start: 1 November 2020

2.   Required action

Market participants can order the new service via the Member Section.

3.   Details

The new Eurex MIC 14 Mbit/s option is targeted at those participants subscribing to the major part or all of the MDI multicast groups. It contains a market data channel with 13 Mbit/s and a transaction channel with 1 Mbit/s. The new service will be charged with a fee of EUR 1,250. The amended Price List to the Connection Agreement, Provider Connection Agreement and STPIP and QTPIP Connection Agreement (Price List) will be effective as of 1 November 2020.

In order to offer a phase for testing and to ensure a seamless migration, Eurex Frankfurt AG will introduce an incentive by charging a reduced monthly fee of EUR 750 for the new Eurex MIC 14 Mbit/s until 31 January 2021.

Due to the introduction of a new bandwidth of 14 Mbit/s for the Eurex Multi-Interface Channel, the service “Connection via Multi-Member System Provider” will be extended by this new bandwidth and the following fee changes will apply as of 1 November 2020. Attachment 1, section B., contains an overview of available bandwidths and fee changes for connection via a Multi-Member System Provider as of 1 November 2020.

Eurex Frankfurt AG (EFAG) is entitled, pursuant to Sec. 9 of the General Terms and Conditions (GTC) to the Connection Agreement of EFAG, to amend the GTC at any time having due regard to the interests of the Trading Participant. Amendments to the GTC will be notified to Trading Participants at least six weeks prior to their effective date. They are deemed to have been approved if the Trading Participant does not lodge objections with EFAG within six (6) weeks of notification of the amendment.
