Eurex will deploy improved EOBI processing for partition 2 on 10. February in the simulation environment.
The optimization is a similar to that which was already deployed for partition 4 on 12. December 2022 in the production environment (EOBI Optimization for Partition 4 on 12 December 2022 (eurex.com)). As several customers faced out-of-sequence packets on their side, the optimization was rolled back (Disabling of EOBI optimization for Partition 4 as of 27. December (eurex.com).
The root cause on the customer side is now known and the EOBI distribution has been improved to make the optimization fully transparent on the receiver's side. Out-of-sequence packets on the customer side are no longer expected. Following the test phase in the simulation environment, the improvement will be applied to the production environment initially for one partition only. The rollout in the production environment will be announced separately at a later date.
