Arcandor AG: Insolvency Proceedings

On June 9, 2009, Arcandor AG submitted an insolvency petition at the local court of Essen due to imminent inability to pay.
For this reason the Management Boards of the Eurex Exchanges decided as follows:
Trading in Eurex options and in the Eurex stock futures contract on shares of Arcandor AG (ARO/AROF) will continue as before until further notice.
No more options series and maturities in the concerned products will be introduced with immediate effect.
As soon as there is no more open interest in Eurex options and in the Eurex stock futures contract on Arcandor AG (ARO/AROF), trading in these contracts will be put on “HALT” and finally discontinued.
