BASF SE: ISIN Change

On April 29, 2010, the ordinary annual general meeting of BASF SE decided, amongst other things, to convert no-par-value bearer shares to no-par-value registered shares at a ratio of 1:1, and to amend the statutes accordingly. On July 26, 2010, the appropriate amendment of the statutes was entered in the commercial register of the local district court Ludwigshafen and therefore became effective. The technical conversion of securities will become effective on August 2, 2010. Consequently, the ISIN of BASF SE will change with effect from August 2, 2010.

Accordingly, also effective August 2, 2010, the ISIN of the underlying instrument, the product ISIN of Eurex options on BASF SE (BAS) and the ISIN of the underlying instrument of the Eurex stock futures contract on BASF SE (BASG) will change as well. The respective product codes and the product ISIN of the Eurex stock futures contract and of the stock dividend futures contract on BASF SE as well as the ISIN of the underlying instrument of the stock dividend futures contract on BASF SE will remain unchanged.
