Bayer AG: ISIN Change

On May 12, 2009, the ordinary annual general meeting of Bayer AG decided, amongst other things, the conversion of bearer shares without a par value to registered shares without a par value at the ratio of 1:1. The conversion will become effective on September 21, 2009. Due to the conversion, the ISIN of Bayer AG will change effective September 21, 2009.

Due to the conversion, the ISIN of the underlying instrument and the product ISIN of the Eurex options on Bayer AG (BAY) and the underlying ISIN of the Eurex stock futures contract on Bayer AG (BAYF) will change with effect from September 21, 2009. Product code and product ISIN of the Eurex stock futures contract on Bayer AG will remain unchanged.
