CCP Settlement Instruction Data Carrier: New Format

In conjunction with the introduction of CCP Release 5.0, Members will have the opportunity to send settlement instruction data carriers in the new format MT543/ISO15022.

With the start of the CCP 5.0 simulation, Members will also be able to test the settlement instruction data carrier in the simulation environment.

As a distinguishing feature between simulation and production versions of the MT543, the SWIFT address in the header record MT598 was defined.

If both SWIFT addresses of sender and receiver are production addresses, the data is forwarded to the production environment. If at least one of the addresses is a SWIFT simulation address, the data is sent to the simulation environment.

The SWIFT addresses of Eurex Clearing AG are EUXCDEFFAXXX for production and EUXCDEF0AXXX for simulation.

The currently used format of the settlement instruction data carrier, MT523/ISO7775, will be supported in parallel until Q3/2010.

The form was made available on the Eurex Clearing website under the path:
