Celesio AG: Introduction of new series in options and Single Stock Futures

On 14 January 2014, the company McKesson Corporation announced by means of a notification in accordance with the German Securities Acquisition and Takeover Act (“Wertpapiererwerbs- und Über­nahmegesetz”, “WpÜG”) the result of its takeover offer to shareholders of Celesio AG. According to the notification, McKesson Corporation did not reach the self-imposed minimum acceptance threshold of 75 percent. Therefore, the takeover of Celesio AG by McKesson Corporation will not come into being.

As a consequence and effective 20 January 2014, new series in the Eurex options (CLS) and the Eurex Single Stock Futures contract (CLSF) on Celesio AG shares will be introduced.
