Discontinuation of the Eurex Exchange/EEX product cooperation and the clearing link between Eurex Clearing and European Commodity Clearing

Eurex Exchange and European Energy Exchange (EEX) have decided to discontinue their product cooperation as of 13 June 2014. Effective 13 June 2014, technical access to trading of EEX products via Eurex membership will be discontinued.

In connection with the discontinuation of the product cooperation, also the clearing link between Eurex Clearing and European Commodity Clearing (ECC) will be discontinued. Eurex Participants with open positions in EEX products settled via the clearing link must close out their positions or transfer them to a Clearing Member holding an ECC Clearing License by 13 June 2014 at the latest.
