Eurex Clearing
Eurex Clearing will introduce a new clearing system, Eurex Clearing’s new clearing architecture. The introduction will be supported by a simulation phase of several months with extensive testing opportunities for Clearing Members.
Eurex Clearing published the preliminary version of the “Functional and Technical Overview”. This document contains a functional and technical overview of the system. The document is now available on the Eurex Clearing website www.eurexclearing.com under the following path:

From 17 December 2012 onwards, we kindly ask you to register contact persons in the Member Section on the Eurex Clearing website for the implementation of the new clearing architecture to ensure effective information distribution. Please register a project coordinator, a technical contact, a connection test responsible and a simulation single point of contact for the Eurex Technology Roadmap.

The market status window is an indication regarding the current technical availability of the trading system. It indicates whether news board messages regarding current technical issues of the trading system have been published or will be published shortly.
Please find further information about incident handling in the Emergency Playbook published on the Eurex webpage under Support --> Emergencies and safeguards. Detailed information about incident communication, market re-opening procedures and best practices for order and trade reconciliation can be found in the chapters 4.2, 4.3 and 4.5, respectively. Concrete information for the respective incident will be published during the incident via newsboard message.
