Dear Eurex Participant,

With this Newsflash we are informing you about some Eurex T7 updates.

1. T7 Release 9.0 Readiness Statement availability

We would like to make you aware of the mandatory feedback that we kindly request from you. Please submit the "Readiness Statement" for the go-live of T7 Release 9.0 prior to launch. Please enter your dedicated Eurex PIN (for security reasons) in the online questionnaire. The PIN for your company has been sent already in the past to the Central Coordinator.

We kindly ask all Trading Participants to return the Readiness Statement by Friday, 13 November 2020 latest. The Readiness Statement can be found here: Readiness Statement.

All information about T7 Release 9.0 can be found on the Eurex website www.eurex.com on our initiative page: T7 Release 9.0.

We would also like to remind you to participate in the simulation environment and the connection test to assure a smooth transition.

2. Decommissioning of four low-frequency gateways in the T7 simulation environment

Eurex is planning to decommission four of the low-frequency trading gateways (L05 - L08) in the T7 simulation environment from 27 November 2020 onwards. The IP addresses of the affected gateways are as follows:

Market Status

The market status window is an indication regarding the current technical availability of the trading system. It indicates whether news board messages regarding current technical issues of the trading system have been published or will be published shortly.

Please find further information about incident handling in the Emergency Playbook published on the Eurex webpage under Support --> Emergencies and safeguards. Detailed information about incident communication, market re-opening procedures and best practices for order and trade reconciliation can be found in the chapters 4.2, 4.3 and 4.5, respectively. Concrete information for the respective incident will be published during the incident via newsboard message. 

We strongly recommend not to take any decisions based on the indications in the market status window but to always check the production news board for comprehensive information on an incident.
