Eurex Exchange Readiness Newsflash | Reminder regarding Eurex Circular 027/20 “Money market futures/options and ETF futures/options: Change of the partition ID and/or multicast addresses with effect from 13 July 2020”

Eurex Exchange Readiness Newsflash

Dear Eurex Participant,

In this newsflash we would like to draw your special attention to Eurex circular 027/20 “Money market futures/options and ETF futures/options: Change of the partition ID and/or multicast addresses with effect from 13 July 2020”.

This Eurex circular provides very important information regarding the change of the partition ID and/or multicast addresses resulting from the split of the Money Market futures/options and ETF futures/options, which will take place in the T7 Production environment on 13 July 2020.

In particular, we would like to bring your attention to the fact that a new scenario will arise for the EMDI Market Data interface whereby two partitions, each with their unique SenderCompID (49), will be contributing to the same multicast address. Participants/Vendors must ensure that their EMDI Market data applications are able to handle this new scenario.

To provide Participants and Vendors with the opportunity to test their applications prior to the change in production, the same scenario is being provided in the T7 8.1 Simulation environment. In this case, market data from partitions 2 and 3 are being published on the multicast addresses 224.0.50.108/.109 and 224.0.50.236/.237.

If you require more information, please refer to the Eurex circular or contact your Technical Key Account Manager via your VIP number or cts@deutsche-boerse.com.
