Eurex Exchange Readiness Newsflash | T7 Cloud Simulation - Password policy update

Dear Eurex Participant,

With this Newsflash, we would like to provide you with an update regarding the T7 Cloud Simulation Password policy for LaunchPad and API.

Based on improvements of the Cloud Simulation Password Policy, below changes will apply starting 1 April 2023: 

• New passwords will require a minimum length of 12 characters and must contain at least one special character, at least one number and at least one capital letter.

• When changing the LaunchPad password for any reason, users will be prohibited from using the same password again.

• To prevent possible brute force attacks on Cloud Simulation accounts, users will be locked after 10 unsuccessful logins. Please note that this also applies when using any of the API tokens used for CS API connection. 

• In case of problems, accounts can be unlocked by the Technical Key Account Manager or by sending an e-mail to cts@deutsche-boerse.com.

Passwords currently used remain valid. However, as of 1 April 2023, all users will be asked to change their password once in order to comply with the above requirements.
