Eurex Exchange Readiness Newsflash | Transaction Size Limits (TSL) – Switch-over of Transaction Size Limits (TSL) in T7 Simulation and Publication of Focus Call content

Dear Eurex Participant,

We would like to draw your attention to:

  • The upcoming Transaction Size Limit (TSL) switch-over in Eurex Simulation that will come into effect on 19 May 2022
  • The publication of the TSL Focus Call screencast

1. Switch-over of Transaction Size Limits (TSL) in T7 Simulation

As described in the T7 Release 10.1 Release Notes, the Migration Process in Simulation will follow the same steps as the Production Migration Process. The duration of the migration phase is two and a half weeks. The last day of the migration phase in Simulation will be Wednesday, 18 May 2022. The new TSL configuration will be operationally enabled in Simulation on Thursday, 19 May 2022.

Since the simulation phase for T7 Release 10.1 has started on 2 May 2022, we strongly urge all Trading Participants and Clearing Members to take part in the simulation environment and to test various scenarios to ensure readiness.

2. Publication of Focus Call content

The content of the TSL Focus Call content – screencast, presentation and templates – has been published on www.eurex.com. 

The material can be found on the Eurex website www.eurex.com under the following path: Support > Initiatives & Releases > Project Readiness > Transaction Size Limits (TSL) Enhancements.

Market Status

The market status window is an indication regarding the current technical availability of the trading system. It indicates whether news board messages regarding current technical issues of the trading system have been published or will be published shortly.

Please find further information about incident handling in the Emergency Playbook published on the Eurex webpage under Support --> Emergencies and safeguards. Detailed information about incident communication, market re-opening procedures and best practices for order and trade reconciliation can be found in the chapters 4.2, 4.3 and 4.5, respectively. Concrete information for the respective incident will be published during the incident via newsboard message. 

We strongly recommend not to take any decisions based on the indications in the market status window but to always check the production news board for comprehensive information on an incident.
