Eurex Exchange’s T7 Release 3.0: Publication of documents and new simulation calendar for the period from 12 October 2015 to 3 January 2016

To further improve and extend the trading infrastructure, the launch of Eurex Exchange’s T7 Release 3.0 is scheduled to take place on 23 November 2015.

The simulation environment for the new release will be available starting 25 September 2015.

This circular provides information about publication of further documents for the new release and the new simulation calendar for derivatives trading at Eurex Exchange and derivatives clearing at Eurex Clearing for the period from 12 October 2015 to 3 January 2016.

Detailed information on the simulation and the current schedule for batch days and simulation focus days can be found on the Eurex website www.eurexchange.com under the path: Technology > Simulation calendar.
To accommodate the introduction of Eurex Clearing’s C7 Release 3.0 simulation, scheduled for 26 October 2015, some minor restrictions and processing changes will apply in the T7 Release 3.0 simulation. Details can be found in Eurex Exchange’s T7 Release 3.0 Participant Simulation Guide, chapter 1.3. Market Status

The market status window is an indication regarding the current technical availability of the trading system. It indicates whether news board messages regarding current technical issues of the trading system have been published or will be published shortly.

Detailed information about incident communication, market re-opening procedures and best practices for order and trade reconciliation can be found in the chapters 4.2, 4.3 and 4.5, respectively. Concrete information for the respective incident will be published during the incident via newsboard message. 

We strongly recommend not to take any decisions based on the indications in the market status window but to always check the production news board for comprehensive information on an incident.
