As announced in Eurex circular 042/08 enhancements to the features “Pre-Trading Risk Protection” and “Stop Button” were introduced, such as online broadcast of “Alert” messages and a new violation counter within the VALUES request.
In addition to the existing report TT130 – “Risk Event Report”, the new report TT131 – “Risk Event Trader Report “ will be introduced on April 14, 2008. The new report contains trader-specific information such as pre-trading risk protection limits set for own trader subgroups and market maker protection limits. For further information please refer to Eurex circular 063/08.
In order to provide special opportunities to test the stop button and pre-trading risk processing, the focus days listed below will be offered. The focus days are also included in the new simulation calendar, published with Eurex circular 074/08 on April 8, 2008:
· Tuesday, April 22, 2008
· Thursday, April 24, 2008
· Wednesday, April 30, 2008
Specific simulation scenarios to support the simulation activities are attached to this circular.
