Attached to this circular we are providing the calendar for the permanent simulation of Eurex Release 14.0 from July 2 to September 2, 2012. In general, simulation will be available continuously, including weekends.
Please note:
Eurex Release 14.0 Simulation will be closed on Wednesday, July 4, 2012 for maintenance.
Simulation batch days are often not on the usual Tuesdays and Thursdays due to holidays; the number of batch days has been increased; simulation time on batch days will be limited.
Matcher and host failover tests are scheduled for Wednesday, July 25, 2012, as described in this circular.
Detailed information on the simulation including a list of current simulation instruments and the current schedule for batch days can be found on the Eurex website www.eurexchange.com under the following path:

The market status window is an indication regarding the current technical availability of the trading system. It indicates whether news board messages regarding current technical issues of the trading system have been published or will be published shortly.

Detailed information about incident communication, market re-opening procedures and best practices for order and trade reconciliation can be found in the chapters 4.2, 4.3 and 4.5, respectively. Concrete information for the respective incident will be published during the incident via newsboard message.
We strongly recommend not to take any decisions based on the indications in the market status window but to always check the production news board for comprehensive information on an incident.
