Eurex/TAIFEX link: Introduction of Daily Futures on TAIEX derivatives

The Management Board of Eurex Deutschland and the Executive Board of Eurex Zürich AG passed the following decisions with effect from 15 May 2014:


1. Introduction of Daily Futures (futures with daily maturity) on TAIEX derivatives of the Taiwanese derivatives exchange Taiwan Futures Exchange (TAIFEX),


2. Introduction of a Designated Market-Making scheme for Daily Futures on TAIEX futures and a Permanent Market-Making scheme for Daily Futures on TAIEX options.


This circular contains all information on introduction of the new products and the updated sections of the relevant rules and regulations of Eurex Deutschland and Eurex Zürich AG. Information especially on the clearing of the new products and updated sections of the relevant rules and regulations of Eurex Clearing AG will be provided soon in a separate Eurex Clearing circular.


The new products have been available in simulation since 12 March 2014.
