On 20 August 2013, the Executive Board and Supervisory Board of Deutsche Wohnen AG decided to make a voluntary public takeover offer to all shareholders of GSW Immobilien AG to acquire their no-par value bearer shares. In exchange for 20 GSW Immobilien AG shares, Deutsche Wohnen AG intends to offer 51 new no-par value bearer shares of Deutsche Wohnen AG (subject to the final determination of the minimum price). Pursuant to the Contract Specifications for Futures Contracts and Options Contracts at Eurex Deutschland and Eurex Zürich, section 1.6.7 (7) for futures and section 2.6.10.1 (7) for options, an adjustment of the existing contracts will be made by means of the R-factor method, as soon as the transaction can be regarded as having taken effect.
As soon as the offer documents have been published by Deutsche Wohnen AG, we will inform you about the further procedure of the takeover offer in a seperate Eurex circular.
Please note that for the time being, no new options series and contract months will be introduced in the affected products (GIB, GIBF) as of 21 August 2013.
