Information of BaFin on the German High-frequency Trading Act

Please note attached letter by the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (Bundesanstalt für Finanzdienstleistungsaufsicht, BaFin).

The German High-frequency Trading Act became effective on 15 May 2013. It addresses measures and procedures to regulate algorithmic trading and high frequency trading.

BaFin asked that the document be forwarded to the direct trading participants connected to our trading system, which we hereby fulfil. BaFin also asked that direct trading participants forward the document to their known indirect trading participants. We kindly ask you to comply with
BaFin’s request.
