The Collateral Management Engine introduced with Eurex Release 11.0 offers Eurex Clearing Members the opportunity to have withdrawals of pledged collateral processed in real time via the @X-tract Clearing GUI or via the VALUES interface. With Eurex circular 257/08, Eurex already announced integration of Clearstream Banking Frankfurt (CBF) in this STP process for the end of the first quarter of 2009.
In order to prepare for this migration, we kindly ask the Clearing Members who use Central Securities Depository CBF as collateral location to specify their CREATION accounts pledged in favor of Eurex Clearing AG including linked main accounts. This is also relevant for Clearing Members who intend to use this set-up in the future.
Please fill in and return the attached form by February 28, 2009, otherwise timely migration of CREATION pledged securities accounts/main accounts into the STP process cannot be guaranteed.
