On 11 December 2015, the companies Mediolanum S.p.A. and Banca Mediolanum S.p.A. announced in a press release that the deed of merger of both companies through acquisition of Mediolanum S.p.A. by Banca Mediolanum S.p.A. was signed.
Execution of the merger of the companies will be done through the exchange of shares. Shareholders of Mediolanum S.p.A. will receive one Banca Mediolanum S.p.A. share for each Mediolanum S.p.A. share they hold. For further information on the transaction, please refer to the company website www.mediolanum.com.
Upon successful completion of the transaction, adjustment of the Eurex options and futures contracts on shares of Mediolanum S.p.A. will become necessary: The underlying instrument of the contracts will change from Mediolanum S.p.A. to Banca Mediolanum S.p.A. according to the table contained in this circular.
Effective date of the adjustment: 30 December 2015.
