The rule for determination of the mistrade range for options strategies under Number 2.8.5 of the Conditions for Trading at Eurex Deutschland and Eurex Zürich will be adjusted with effect from 10 July 2017.
The amendments only refer to the methods for determination of the mistrade range for options strategies as set out in Number 2.8.5 of the Conditions for Trading at Eurex Deutschland and Eurex Zürich. The method for determination of the mistrade range for futures strategies according to Number 2.8.5 and the rules for determination of the reference price according to Number 2.8.6 remain unchanged.
In order to determine an appropriate mistrade range for all options strategy types and all market situations, the rule is adjusted with the purpose of taking the net strategy price and the prices for outright options that constitute the strategy into consideration when determining the mistrade range. This results in a wider mistrade range for options strategies with opposite trades, which allows for the usual price volatility associated with such strategies.
