Schaeffler KG/Continental AG: Final Information on Takeover Offer

On January 8, 2009, Schaeffler KG announced the definitive implementation of the voluntary public takeover offer of July 30, 2008. According to this communication, a change of control has not taken place and, consequently, no adjustment to the Eurex options or Eurex futures on shares of Continental AG pursuant to numbers 2.6.10.1 (7) and 1.6.7 (7) of the Contract Specifications for Futures Contracts and Options Contracts
at Eurex Deutschland and Eurex Zürich will be required. Therefore, trading in these contracts will continue unchanged.
