Single Stock Dividend Futures: Introduction of a Designated Market-Making Scheme for U.S. Single Stock Dividend Futures

The Management Board of Eurex Deutschland and the Executive Board of Eurex Zürich AG decided to introduce a Designated Market-Making Scheme for U.S. Single Stock Dividend Futures, effective from 10 April 2014. The scheme will run until 31 December 2014.

Eurex Exchange offers interested participants the possibility to act as Designated Market Maker for the new U.S. Single Stock Dividend Futures. Designated Market Maker ensure continuing liquidity by undertaking to provide quotes on the bid and ask side subject to maximum spreads for a specified minimum number of contracts in a fixed number of products and within a specified period of time. In addition, Designated Market Maker will undertake other obligations as to the efficient operation of the market by providing additional price information.They also agree to be available for additional price verifications, if applicable, as requested by Eurex Exchange.

In return, Eurex Exchangewill grant Designated Market Makers a reimbursement of 50 percent of transaction fees for all contracts concluded on the M-accounts in U.S. Single Stock Dividend Futures.
