The Management Board of Eurex Deutschland and the Executive Board of Eurex Zürich AGdecided, as an exception, not to offer any trading on Whit Monday next year, i.e. on 25 May 2015.
On that day there will be national public holidays in the U.S. (“Memorial Day“), Great Britain (“Late May bank holiday“), Germany, Austria and Switzerland (“Whit Monday“), as well as in South Korea (“Buddha’s Birthday“). Therefore, essential markets are not available.
With Eurex circular 080/14, Eurex Exchange already informed that on German Unification Day (3 October 2014), no trading will take place in German equity options, German Single Stock Futures, and in index options and index futures of the DAX®family. ETF- and ETC derivatives which are based on Xetra®listings still have to be added. These derivatives will also be suspended from trading on that day.
For all other products, trading will take place as usual on 3 October 2014.

The market status window is an indication regarding the current technical availability of the trading system. It indicates whether news board messages regarding current technical issues of the trading system have been published or will be published shortly.

Detailed information about incident communication, market re-opening procedures and best practices for order and trade reconciliation can be found in the chapters 4.2, 4.3 and 4.5, respectively. Concrete information for the respective incident will be published during the incident via newsboard message.
