Eurex Circular 089/21 EURO STOXX® Banks Index Options: Introduction of additional expirations and adjustment of strike price intervals

1.  Introduction

With effect from 11 October 2021, the Management Board of Eurex Deutschland has decided the following changes for EURO STOXX® Banks Options:

  • Change of the strike price intervals, as outlined in the attached Contract Specifications,
  • Change in terms availability, as outlined in the attached Contract Specifications.

Production start: 11 October 2021

2.  Required action

There is no required action for participation.

3. Details of the initiative

The reduction in strike price intervals will broaden the choice of strikes used for trading.

The change in terms availability will support the rolling of positions from one quarter of the first year into the same quarter of the second year for all quarters.

The updated Contract Specifications for Futures Contracts and Options Contracts at Eurex Deutschland will be published on the Eurex website www.eurex.com as of start of trading under the following link:
