Liquidity Provisioning: Adjustment of quotation parameters for EURO STOXX 50® Index Dividend Futures and EURO STOXX® Banks Index Dividend Futures

Eurex Circular 030/22 Liquidity Provisioning: Adjustment of quotation parameters for EURO STOXX 50® Index Dividend Futures and EURO STOXX® Banks Index Dividend Futures

1.   Introduction

The Management Boards of Eurex Deutschland and Eurex Frankfurt have decided:

  • to adapt the Product Specific Supplement for EURO STOXX 50® Index Dividend Futures and EURO STOXX® Banks Index Dividend Futures, effective 9 March 2022, according to Attachments 1 and 2.

2.   Required action

There are no actions required.

3.   Details

The volatile situation on the financial markets and the uncertainty with regards to dividend payments impedes the quotation of the EURO STOXX 50® Index Dividend Futures (FEXD) and EURO STOXX® Banks Index Dividend Futures (FEBD). The extension of the quotation spreads and the reduction of the required expiries accounts for this circumstance.

This measure should enable Liquidity Providers to fulfil the quotation requirements in the current market situation and to qualify for the respective incentives.
