MSCI derivatives: Change of ISINs for MSCI indices

Eurex Circular 069/22 MSCI derivatives: Change of ISINs for MSCI indices

1.  Introduction

In the past, the index provider MSCI did not apply for ISINs for its indices. Therefore, Eurex received so-called dummy ISINs for the underlying indices (starting with "XC") from WM Datenservice when launching MSCI derivatives. As MSCI Ltd. has meanwhile moved to apply for GB ISINs for indices, the ISINs in the Eurex systems will now be adjusted accordingly.

As of 11 July 2022, the changes listed in the attached table will therefore be made. The ISINs of the MSCI derivatives themselves will remain unchanged, only the ISINs of the indices used will change.

Production start: 11 July 2022
