1.  Introduction

The Executive Boards of Eurex Frankfurt AG and Eurex Clearing AG took the following decision, with effect from 23 January 2023:

  • Introduction of a Liquidity Provider Scheme for Three-Month Euro STR Futures and 3M SARON® Futures

The Liquidity Provider scheme will support the launch of the Three-Month Euro STR Futures which start trading on 23 January 2023, and to build liquidity in the existing 3M SARON® Futures.

For details of the Liquidity Provider scheme, please refer to the attached Product Specific Supplement (PSS).

The new quotation requirements will be valid from 23 January 2023 until 31 January 2024.

The PSS will be provided as single PDF file on the Eurex website www.eurex.com under the following path: Trade > Market-Making and Liquidity provisioning.

Production start: 23 January 2023

2.  Required action

There is no action required for participation.

3.  Details

To support the launch of the Three-Month Euro STR Futures and develop liquidity in the 3M SARON® Futures, Eurex introduces a Liquidity Provider Scheme effective from 23 January 2023. 

Market participants will be entitled to receive monetary incentives in the form of fee rebates and additional incentives upon fulfilling the order-book quoting requirements specified in the document attached.
