1. Introduction
As part of Eurex Frankfurt AG’s and Eurex Deutschland’s maintenance and continuous development regarding compliance and the management of associated risks, Eurex Frankfurt AG and Eurex Deutschland would hereby like to remind all Trading Participants of the necessity to apply adequate compliance measures in connection with the usage of Eurex Frankfurt AG´s and Eurex Deutschland’s infrastructure, products and services by Trading Participants and their representatives.
2. Required action
The usage by Trading Participants, (or their representatives) of the infrastructure, products and services provided by Eurex Frankfurt AG and Eurex Deutschland shall not infringe or contribute to the infringement of any criminal laws, including criminal tax laws, applicable to the participant or its representatives. Adequate criminal compliance measures should therefore be applied in connection with the usage of Eurex Frankfurt AG´s and Eurex Deutschland’s infrastructure, products and services. Where Trading Participants offer services to clients, Trading Participants should in addition ensure that their compliance measures adequately avoid a misuse of Eurex Frankfurt AG´s and Eurex Deutschland’s infrastructure, products and services by their clients.
Trading Participants are further expected to closely follow developments regarding sanctions to ensure full compliance with governmental sanctions and restrictive measures as and when they are imposed. Trading Participants are in particular expected not to use the infrastructure, products and services of Eurex Frankfurt AG and Eurex Deutschland in a way that would contravene sanctions and or embargos imposed by the relevant authorities.

We strongly recommend not to take any decisions based on the indications in the market status window but to always check the production news board for comprehensive information on an incident.
