1.  Introduction

Eurex has decided to increase the number of Ethernet frames per minute allowed over each 10 Gbit/s Order Entry co-location cross-connects effective from 1 November 2023:

  • The new limit is 600,000 Ethernet frames per minute, the Ethernet frames per second limit will remain unchanged.

There is no particular action required.

3.  Details 

To increase the headroom for trading activities of the Participants, Eurex has decided to increase the number of Ethernet frames per minute allowed over each 10 Gbit/s Order Entry co-location cross-connects. 

The new limit is 600,000 Ethernet frames per minute. This new limit overrules the current limit of 300,000, as stated in the GTC Connection Agreement of Eurex Frankfurt AG § 2 (5) f, as well as the limit increase to 400,000 stated in the Implementation News announced on 16 March 2023: Further increase of allowed Ethernet frames per minute to 400,000.
