1. Introduction
The Korea Exchange (KRX) will offer extended trading hours on their platform as of 9 June 2025. Consequently, KOSPI futures and options and USD/KRW futures will no longer be available for trading at Eurex from 5 June 2025, with the last trading day of the products at Eurex being 4 June 2025.
2. Required action
Please consider that from 5 June 2025, no trading in KOSPI derivatives and USD/KRW futures will be possible at Eurex.
3. Details
In order to ensure a seamless transition, Eurex and KRX have agreed on the following timeline:
4 June 2025 | Last trading day at Eurex |
5 June 2025 | Buffer day for transition of open interest to KRX |
6 June 2025 | Public Holiday in South Korea |
9 June 2025 | First trading day at KRX with extended trading hours |
The official cancellation of admission of KOSPI and USD/KRW derivatives will be announced separately at a later point in time.
