Eurex EnLight: Price boundary amendments to Contract Specifications for Futures and Options Contracts

Eurex Circular 044/26 Eurex EnLight: Price boundary amendments to Contract Specifications for Futures and Options Contracts

1.    Introduction

The Management Board of Eurex Deutschland took the following decision with effect from 13 July 2026:

  • To amend the Contract Specifications for Futures Contracts and Options Contracts at Eurex Deutschland ("Contract Specifications") as outlined in the Attachment.

To implement the above decision, the Contract Specifications will be amended with effect from 13 July 2026

This circular contains all information on the updated sections of the relevant Rules and Regulations of Eurex Deutschland.

2.    Required action

There are no specific actions or requirements from Trading Participants.

3.    Details of the initiative

The motivation of this change is to enhance flexibility in the price negotiation process within Eurex EnLight. In particular it enables the definition of input intervals that appropriately reflect the specific execution environment of Eurex EnLight transactions, thereby reducing unwarranted electronic rejections whilst negotiating already on-exchange prices.

The change grants the Management Board of Eurex Deutschland the authority to define deviations from standard price input intervals (TES price boundaries) for Eurex EnLight transactions where appropriate. The change will take effect on 13 July 2026 and will apply to all Trading Participants of Eurex Deutschland and Vendors.

For clients, the main benefit lies in increased market certainty and operational stability within Eurex EnLight transactions by reducing unwarranted electronic rejections. The introduction of greater flexibility in the definition of input intervals ensures that appropriate parameters can be applied across different trading scenarios and products.

There are no further extensions or developments planned at this time.
