Eurex Circular 056/26 Fixed Income: Amendment of the Liquidity Provider Programs for Euro-EU Bond futures (FBEU)

1. Introduction

The Executive Boards of Eurex Frankfurt AG and Eurex Clearing AG took the following decisions:

A. With effect from 1 September 2026:

  • to amend the Product Specific Supplement (PSS) „Fixed Income 24 – Euro-EU Bond futures“ as shown in Attachment 1. 

B. With effect from 1 October 2026:

  • to amend the Product Specific Supplement (PSS) „Fixed Income 24 – Euro-EU Bond futures“ as shown in Attachment 2. 

2. Required action

Liquidity Providers should adapt their quotation behavior accordingly.

3. Details of the initiative

The current revenue sharing floor payment under PSS „Fixed Income 24 – Euro-EU Bond futures” was initially introduced as of 10 September 2025 until 31 August 2026, and will now be extended with unchanged conditions for the month of September, effective 1 September 2026. Revenues will be paid to each of the qualified Liquidity Providers after fulfillment of the Basis Building Block.

Effective 1 October 2026, additional changes to the Liquidity Provider Scheme will come into effect. These include a harmonization of the quote size requirements and a differentiation of the revenue sharing floor payment amounts as described under 4.2 of Attachment 2. Revenues will be paid monthly to each of the qualified Liquidity Providers after fulfillment of the Basis Building Block.

These changes are intended to further improve market activity and support the continued development of liquidity in EU Bond Futures.

The amendments shall be deemed approved unless objected to Eurex Frankfurt AG and Eurex Clearing AG within a period of two weeks after notification of this circular pursuant to Number 4 (2) of the Liquidity Provider Agreement.
