任何交易員被授權代表會員在歐洲期貨交易所交易都必須先被歐洲期貨交易所認可為交易所交易員。
歐洲期貨交易所沒有限制交易所參與者的交易員數量，但是所有交易所參與者必須至少有一個被認可的交易員，才能符合歐洲期貨交易所的許可要求。
每家公司至少必須有一名交易員被歐洲期貨交易所認可。此外，一家公司必須有一位交易所認可的交易員才可能被許可。如果交易所交易員轉換到另一家公司，則必須通過書面通知並返還到原先公司的交易員許可，並且新公司必須申請新的交易所交易員許可。
根據歐交所交易規則第3段的3.2條(passage 3 number 3.2)，歐交所認可公司的交易員必須可靠並且具有必要的技能。
所有相關步驟都可以通過互聯網在世界任何地方（無論時區如何）申請。 您可以隨時通過歐洲期貨交易所會員專區中的電子交易所申請服務（eXAS）在線跟踪申請的當前處理狀態。 請注意，必須至少一位申請管理員會為您的公司設置電腦，因為只能通過eXAS申請為交易所交易員。
