Eurex Clearing

Amendment of General Terms and Conditions to the Connection Agreement and General Terms and Conditions to the Provider Connection Agreement

The announced introduction of the EurexOTC Clear Service for Interest Rate Swaps requires amendments to the General Terms and Conditions to the Agreement on the Technical Connection to the Clearing EDP of Eurex Clearing AG (Connection Agreement).

The changes to the General Terms and Conditions refer to the definition of the term “Eurex Clearing Graphical User Interface (GUI)”.

As new elements, technical connection to the clearing EDP and access to clearing data by means of a trade source system as well as the outsourcing framework for clearing and back-office functions were introduced.

Furthermore, Clearing Members, Non-Clearing Members, Registered Customers and specific other contractual parties shall be obligated to ensure access to the Common Report Engine. Also, the requirements to access the clearing data by means of VALUES API, the FIXML Interface API and the Eurex Graphical User Interface (GUI) were modified.

The changes in the General Terms and Conditions to the Provider Connection Agreement were updated according to the General Terms and Conditions to the Connection Agreement.

The changes will come into effect on 9 November 2012.
