Amendment of the General Terms and Conditions to the Connection Agreement and the Provider Connection Agreement: Limitation of 10Gbit/s ETI connections owned and/or used

In order to maintain system fairness and stability, Eurex Frankfurt AG has decided to implement limits on the use of its (ETI) 10Gbit/s Trading Connectivity, its 10Gbit/s Market Data Connectivity and on High-Frequency Trading Sessions routing over the aforementioned ETI connectivity.

These amendments are reflected in the General Terms and Conditions to the Connection Agreement and the Provider Connection Agreement (Sections 1 (20), 3 (6) and Section 3 (13) of the respective attached document). The limit for 10Gbit/s ETI connectivity will be set at owning and/or using a maximum of 32 10Gbit/s ETI connections (maximum 4 per Access Point (Switch)) and 32 10Gbit/s Market Data Connections.

The usage of Connectivity and High-Frequency Trading Sessions will be monitored, and appropriate action will be taken if Trading Participants do not comply with the limits as outlined in the General Terms and Conditions to the Connection Agreement and Provider Connection Agreement.

The amendments, as set out in attachments 1 and 2, will be effective as of 11 December 2017.

More information on Partition Specific Gateways, their roll-out and the limits on connectivity and trading sessions will follow in a further Eurex circular.
