The Management Boards of the Eurex Exchanges decided to suspend trading in equity options on Gazprom Neft (SCF), Rosneft (OJS1), Rostelekom (RTL) and X5 Retail (PJP) effective 31 October 2012.
As trading day tomorrow, all series without open interest will be set to the “HALT“ status, whereby trading will be suspended. No new series will be generated.
All series with open interest can still be traded, as before. As soon as there is no more open interest in one or more of these series, they will also be suspended from trading. When all series are suspended or have expired, admission of the respective equity option will be terminated and the option will be deleted from the Eurex® system. Deletions will be announced in the Market Supervision Messages window.
The modified Contract Specifications for Futures Contracts and Options Contracts at Eurex Deutschland and Eurex Zürich will be published on the Eurex website www.eurexchange.com under the link:

Furthermore, for Flexible Futures for SSFs on Gazprom Neft (SCFF), Rosneft (OJSG), Rostelekom (RTLF) and X5 Retail (PJPF) the option for physical settlement will be disabled.
