Eurex Exchange Readiness Newsflash | Update T7 Release 12.0 – Eurex Buy-Side Trading Disclosure

Dear Eurex Participant,

Eurex Exchange would like to inform Trading Participants about the adjustment of the timeline for the functional start of the Eurex Buy-Side Trading Disclosure announced in Eurex Circular 043/23.

The functional launch of the initiative, including the registration for the program as well as the start of the fee differentiation, is now targeted for H2/2024. The adjustment of the timeline allows Eurex to further improve the model design in alignment with clients. The launch date will be announced in due course. Additional information is available on the dedicated Support page on the Eurex website www.eurex.com under the link:

Support > Initiatives & Releases > Readiness for projects > Eurex Buy-Side Trading Disclosure

Please keep in mind that the technical launch will take place as planned with the change of the optional Buy-Side Client disclosure identifier with T7 Release 12.0. The adapted Buy-Side Client ID, that will enable Trading Participants and Buy-Side Disclosure clients to use the Legal Entity Identification (LEI) for the Buy-Side Disclosure in addition to the five-characters identification string, will be available for testing in simulation.

As already communicated, T7 Release 12.0 will be launched on the following dates:

Simulation start: 11 September 2023
Production start: 20 November 2023

Learn more about T7 Release 12.0 on our dedicated initiative page on the Eurex website under the following link:

Support > Initiatives & Releases > T7 Release 12.0

System documentation, circulars, timeline and much more information will be available there for you.

Required action

Trading Participants should be aware of the adapted timeline and the enhancement to the Buy-Side Client disclosure identifier, which will be delivered with T7 Release 12.0.

An announcement regarding technical C7 changes affecting the Clearing GUI, FIXML and clearing reports is made in a separate Eurex Clearing newsflash.

Kind regards,

Your Client Services Team
