Eurex Exchange’s new trading architecture: Product migration effective 3 December 2012

Eurex Exchange will launch its new trading architecture in production on 3 December 2012. On the production launch date, a first set of products will be active for trading on the new trading architecture. As of 3 December 2012 from the start of trading, these products can only be traded on the new trading architecture and will no longer be tradable on the current Eurex® production system.

For this reason the Conditions for Trading have been modified. In addition, the Contract Specifications for Futures Contracts and Options Contracts at Eurex Deutschland and Eurex Zürich have been extended by Annex E (allocation scheme and path priority for product classes on the new trading architecture) and Annex F. Annex F defines in a legally binding manner which product classes and products respectively are traded on the new trading architecture. The modifications to the Contract Specifications attached to this circular contain the product classes to be activated on 3 December 2012 on the new trading architecture in Annex F. In case certain products of the product classes listed are not part of the migration, these products are listed separately.

Please note that the list of products to be migrated to the new trading architecture was already published in Eurex circular 248/12 and in addition, a csv-file containing the products is available on the Eurex website www.eurexchange.com.

In addition, please note that orders (including GTC or GTD orders) in the affected products that exist in the current Eurex® production system on the business day prior to migration (end-of-business) will not be migrated to the new trading architecture but will be deleted.
