Eurex Trading-on-Behalf service for mass deletion: Amended validation process for users of the PIN procedure

In the event that the Participant Front End System or another EDP system of an Exchange Participant is non-functional, the entry of data into the Electronic Trading System may be processed as part of the Trading-on-Behalf service. In this case, the Eurex Exchanges will verify the legitimation for data entry based on the active user ID notified to them.

As an alternative to the legitimation regulated in § 58 Section (7) of the Exchange Rules for Eurex Deutschland and Eurex Zürich, the Management Board accepts a PIN number to legitimate an Exchange Participant for usage of the “mass deletion” functionality. For users of the PIN procedure who wish to have a mass deletion performed via the Eurex Trading-on-Behalf service, an additional validation step will be introduced.

In addition to the Member ID, User ID and PIN, also the user level (Trader, Headtrader, Supervisor), will be queried. In future, mass deletions for users of the PIN procedure will only be performed based on the User ID and User level.
This procedure only applies to users of the PIN procedure. For Eurex Trading Members who do not use the PIN procedure, the process remains unchanged.

The amendment will come into effect on 15 December 2015.
