1.  Introduction

With effect from 20 September 2021, futures on the Mini-MDAX® Index (FSMX) will be activated for tradability in the U.S.

2.  Required action

There is no action required for participation in trading in these products.

3.  Details

Eurex Deutschland has submitted an application for certification to the “Division of Market Oversight” of the “Commodities Futures Trading Commission” (CFTC) to offer trading of Mini-MDAX® Index Futures in the U.S. The CFTC has certified these contracts so that this product can be made available for trading in the U.S. as of 20 September 2021.

The corresponding "capacity group" for the products is "CASH/PHYSICAL EUR - CFTC".

According to the Eurex Deutschland's registration as a "Foreign Board of Trade", the Mini-MDAX® Index Futures can be offered or sold to persons in the U.S. via Eurex terminals with direct access in the U.S.
