Eurex
1. Introduction
The Management Board of Eurex Deutschland took the following decision with effect from 2 January 2024:
This circular contains all information about the changes and the updated sections of the relevant Rules and Regulations of Eurex Deutschland.
Production start: 02 January 2024
2. Required action
There is no action required for participation.
3. Details of the initiative
Aim of the changes is to clarify the rules for entering reference trades into the EFP facility within the Eurex T7 Entry Services. The EFP facility supports different types of transactions, e.g. Basket of Shares vs Equity Index Futures or Trade at Index Close (TAIC). Due to the nature of the transactions, different requirements for the respective transaction apply, including a potentially different minimum block trade size (MBTS).
The clarification categorizes each of the transaction types to enhance readability and comprehensiveness.
To increase the certainty on the required MBTS, Eurex will provide a calculator on its website until further notice.
As of 2 January 2024, the calculator can be found on the Eurex website www.eurex.com under the following path:
Trade > Eurex T7 Entry Services
