1. Introduction
In 2025, Deutsche Börse started a new generation of browser-based graphical user interfaces (GUIs) for the T7 trading system. These new browser-based GUIs are designed to enhance the user experience and to simplify maintenance.
With the initial announcement in Eurex Circular 081/25, a draft timeline for the introduction of the new T7 Web GUIs and the decommissioning of the current Java-based GUIs was communicated.
This circular provides a more detailed timeline including specific decommissioning dates for the current Java-based GUIs to support participants with their migration planning.

Decommissioning | 31 August 2026 | Java-based T7 Admin GUI | Simulation |
Decommissioning | 9 November 2026 | Java-based T7 Admin GUI | Production & DR |
As a final step, the T7 Trader GUI will also be migrated from the current Java-based version to the Browser-based T7 Web Trader. However, this will not happen before 2027. The exact timeline for the T7 Trader GUI will be communicated later in a separate information.
2. Required action
Users of the current Java-based T7 Clearer GUI are requested to migrate to the browser-based “T7 Web Clearer” which has been available since 2025 prior to the decommissioning of the current Java-based T7 Clearer GUI:
Users of the Java-based T7 Admin GUI are highly recommended to make use of the new Browser-based “T7 Web Admin” in the T7 Simulation environment as soon as it becomes available with T7 Release 14.1 from 23 March 2026 onwards.
Early use will ensure a smooth transition and allow users to quickly familiarize themselves with the usage and the look and feel of the new T7 Web App family of GUIs.
3. Details
The introduction of the “T7 Web Clearer” in 2025 marked the start of the new T7 Web GUI family. The introduction of “T7 Web Admin” with T7 Release 14.1 represents the next major step in this transformation.
The transition to a fully browser-based GUI landscape will be completed with the introduction of T7 Web Trader, which is currently expected beyond 2026.
This phased rollout ensures operational stability while allowing participants sufficient time to adapt to the new interfaces and workflows.
