The company Unilever has announced that the Cross-Border Merger between Unilever PLC and Unilever NV received Court approval. Unilever NV shareholders will receive for each existing Unilever NV-share one new Unilever PLC share. The Unilever PLC shares will be listed at the London Stock Exchange and Euronext Amsterdam. The reference exchange for the Unilever NV contracts will therefore remain Euronext Amsterdam. Trading in the Unilever PLC option (ULV) was already terminated on October 28, as no open positions existed. Trading in the equity-Future on Unilever PLC will be continued until the December 2020 expiration, as there are still existing positions. As soon as no positions exist, trading the equity-Future on Unilever PLC (ULVF) will be terminated. Trading in the US-Dollar denominated equity-Future on Unilever NV (UNAF) will also be terminated with immediate effect, as no open positions exist. Due technical reasons, the ISIN of the underlying of Unilever PLC (ULVF) will be changed with effect as of 26 November 2020 from GB00B10RZP78 to the Dummy-ISIN DE000A2QHWT9.
