Co-Location 2.0 infrastructure capacity enhancement

Additional access layer switches

Eurex plans to enhance the capacity of the Co-Location 2.0 infrastructure by adding a fifth access layer switch per side for Eurex ETI on Monday, 1 October 2018.

As with the existing switches, trading participants will be able to reach the new switches from any data-center room. Any cross connect to the new switches ordered by 1 September 2018 latest will be guaranteed to be ready on 1 October 2018 for the introduction of the new switches.

The current limit of 32 lines per trading participant remains effective and will not be changed with the introduction of the new switches. For reference, please refer to the presentation “Insights into the trading system dynamics”.
